Meguiar's gel on a microfibre towel is the best thing for tyre shine. I've been using the same cloth for years so it's black and well soaked at this point, it leaves a nice satin finish with just a little bit of gel per tyre.

Last week Won a no reserve bid on 1996 land rover defender for $28k and the seller straight ghosted me and cars and bids. I asked if this sale was binding and they told me he doesn't have to sell it to me if he doesn't want. Explain to me why everyone doesn't put no reserve and just back out if they don't want to. 3 days after I won the auction (I have a week to claim the car after auction close) I saw he had the car listed on Facebook marketplace. I had a friend inquire about the car and this guy responded immediately and was aggressively trying to sell him the car. My friend confronted him saying he saw it was sold on cars and bids already and the seller lied his ass off. Told him the site accidentally made it no reserve and the buyer (me) didn't respond or come up with the money when realistically I was ready to wire immediately after auction close. I am done with cars and bids.

The amount of people who trade is shocking. Coworker had an old Dakota late 90s. I thought he liked it, no indication he was wanting to off it. One day a couple months off a promotion he drives in with a brand new f150. "where's your old one" "traded it in for $750" Broke my heart, totally would have bought it. Now it's overseas in Africa probably or crushed.

It's a boring answer for most people, but tires are the number #1 thing to upgrade if you want more performance. It goes faster, corners better, brakes better etc.

tire shine applicators still always end up giving me thin application unless i use a ton of product. I still stand by just completely slathering it with a brush and working the product in, let it cure for a little bit then take down the excess with a light microfiber wipe

My dad had a T-bird Turbo Coupé. It was very cool but it was new and I was 8. Fuck that shit on the hood and black is really the only good color. They still have a nostalgic appeal to me personally but parts aren't available like most Mustangs.
